The word games is searched over 200 000 000 times a month according to Google. Making games for a living, something people still see as a hopeless dream, is quite possible.

Of course there are many games out there. Plenty of people making games too. But most are very poorly marketed and unoriginal (copies of one another like puzzles, find an object games or the like). They're great, but they leave a lot of people unattended. People that like something else.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like bashing. I'm just making my point. If making games for a living is your dream, it isn't rocket science. The competition hasn't locked you out... yet.

Making Games for a living!

Don't think you aren't good enough yet. There are things you should do while you are learning if you want to save a lot of time. You'll find a complete guide on how to make games for a living on this site, and it will get you started even if you are just beginning.

You can quickly learn to make games that sell, by learning to do the preparation before you start, create and promote your games so that people will try them and ultimately purchase a license.
